Before Professional Women of Putnam was established, it was difficult to find networking organizations that offered not only networking, but the ability to build strong and authentic relationships with other women in business. For many reasons there was a lack, but mainly a lack in the commitment it takes to create an assocation such as this.

That is until Jamie Imperati brilliantly stepped in to do the work that needed to be done. Not only once but three times!

Through Professional Women my business, my community, and my friendships have grown. Jamie is masterful at granting opportunities and creating connections that support business growth. The Professional Women community creates an environment that allows women in business the ability to grow in the exact areas they are looking for.

Whether you need support, education, business growth, connections or friendship, you will find it as a member of the Professional Women organization.

Hi Jamie! I wanted to extend my thanks again for the very warm welcome I received at this month’s PWP event. I was a bit nervous going in, not only because it was the first networking event in which I was representing MYSELF through Pinsky Studio, but also because of my tardiness due to the traffic. I was immediately put at ease by the natural flow of the event & its amiable attendees. I loved the speaker, & in the past week have found myself utilizing some of the key points she discussed. & all of the members & attendees were so welcoming & friendly – I have already talked to Donna about selling some of my fine art work on consignment in the Freight House Cafe, & referred my mother to Allison since she’s been looking for a nutritionist. I felt so “at home” there, and that feeling of comfort & familiarity has given me a new motivation for promoting myself within Putnam County. It was the first time I was able to truly discern the difference between the Putnam & Westchester business worlds, and found that it alleviated the anxiety that has always been in the back of my mind regarding self-promotion. I really appreciate the warmth with which you & the PWP members welcomed me, & I sincerely look forward to working with you & the wonderful women of the PWP in the future!

Best,Lindsay Burdick

“Jamie Imperati is a talented marketing professional and excellent networker. A true leader, Jamie had the vision to see the need for Professional Women’s Organizations in Putnam, Westchester and Fairfield counties. These organizations provide a vehicle for networking, business building and education. All the meetings have a tone of collaboration, not competition. This atmosphere lends itself to bringing out the best in participants. I am honored to have Jamie support the efforts of Support Connection and her belief in our mission of offering support to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.” May 26, 2011
