Lisa Fine – LF Communications
LF Communications, Inc. – MARKETING, PUBLIC RELATIONS, COMMUNITY EVENT PLANNING
Lisa Fine recognizes community as essential to any small business. As a small business owner, she has witnessed firsthand how forming powerful bonds with a variety of community members can be profoundly rewarding – both professionally and personally.
In 2003, Lisa formed LF Communications, Inc. to meet the needs of local-based businesses and non-profit organizations for their marketing, public relations and event planning efforts. While her company’s main objectives are to increase awareness, create interest and generate business for their clients, Lisa acknowledges that “where to start, who to speak with and how to do it” can prove very challenging.
As your community partner, Lisa and her team CAN provide a fresh perspective on your current approach and CAN coordinate and offer a full range of support and services for your business or non-profit organization – so that things CAN HAPPEN.
Owning a small business affords many opportunities to become involved and help build the community. Being a good neighbor, participating in local events, supporting and taking advantage of sponsorship opportunities from area non-profit organizations, schools, civic groups and even youth sports teams, are all-important for an organization’s image.
LF Communications, Inc. is the proud organizer of many notable events including Teatown’s Hudson River Eaglefest, Yorktown Community Day, Yorktown Grange Fair, Teatown’s Fall Festivals and Plant Sales, the Women’s Retreat at Mohonk Mountain as well as many other fundraisers, mall expos, trade shows, golf outings, auctions, symposia, meetings and seminars. LF Communications was also responsible for many aspects of the marketing, public relations and sponsorships for these projects.
Lisa has over 25 (+) years of experience in advertising, marketing and public relations for children’s health charities, the pharmaceutical industry, private businesses and various non-profit groups. One of her personal career highlights was her experience as the pro-bono executive producer of two 6-hour live telethons, which raised over $200,000 for children’s cancer research. The show was nominated for a Cable Ace Television Award and Lisa was a finalist in the NYS Gilbert Television Awards. Another rewarding experience was when she co-produced (in less than two weeks time) the Help for Haiti Concert at the Paramount Center for the Arts in Peekskill, which raised over $55,000 in January 2010.
